The Shaman´s Oracle is drawing upon ancient world cave art to offer an oracle in which the prehistoric shaman’s vision within the darkness of the cave is the ancestral guiding wisdom. Explore your question with the help of the cave ancestors, animals and spirits. Each image is from prehistoric cave art from across the world, creating a scintillating oracle.
In connection with The Shaman´s Oracle, I suggest that you watch the documentary Cave of Forgotten Dreams by Werner Herzog. Herzog gained exclusive access to film inside the Chauvet caves of Southern France and captures the oldest known pictorial creations of humanity. Some of them were crafted as 32,000 years ago. The film consists of images from inside the cave as well as of interviews with various scientists and historians. Also includes footage of the nearby Pont d'Arc natural bridge (click here to watch it for free).
